You are at the edge of a change
A decision has been made — or has chosen you. The ground under your old life is starting to give way, and you can feel the crossing waiting.
A free guide from Navigate the Threshold
What no one tells you
Whatever brought you here — a move, a resignation letter, a new relationship, a loss, a diagnosis, a decision that changed everything — you are in the middle of something. And the middle is the hardest place to be. Everyone around you is focused on the before and the after. You are standing in neither. This guide is for that place.
Who this guide is for
A decision has been made — or has chosen you. The ground under your old life is starting to give way, and you can feel the crossing waiting.
You have made the leap — left the job, made the move, said the yes. Now you are in a long, strange middle that no one prepared you for.
The external change is behind you. There is a life on the surface. But something in you has not quite finished the crossing yet, and you can feel it.
Inside the guide
Drawing on the wisdom of William Bridges, Janet Hagberg, Henri Nouwen, and Brother Lawrence — four voices who understood transition at its deepest level.
Part One
What transitions actually do to you. Endings, the strange middle, and how new beginnings really arrive. With William Bridges as guide.
Part Two
What the threshold does at the deepest level. The identity question, and the Wall — when your old strategies stop working. With Janet Hagberg and Robert Guelich.
Part Three
How to live the crossing, one day at a time. Solitude, silence, and the continual practice of presence. With Henri Nouwen and Brother Lawrence.
Part Four
The practical framework. A 30-60-90 day map. Weekly rhythms. Reflection prompts to return to. A closing word for the road.

From me to you
I kept meeting people in transition who were being handed checklists when what they needed was company. Every major change is also a question: who are you becoming on the other side of this? Logistics are easier to talk about than meaning.
I am a pastor by training, and my Christian faith is what sent me into this work. I also believe, with equal conviction, that what this guide offers belongs to everyone — regardless of what you believe or do not believe. The practices here are human before they are religious. Come as you are.
